Pension and Villas are owned and operated by the family Chanioti:
Nikolas, Anna, Arsenia, Ioanna. The family are originally
from paros and they
live more than
20 years
in
paros.
Nikolas and Anna are pensioner and the last few years are occupied with
the farming, so during the summer their guests have the pleasure to
taste local fruits and vegetables from their garden.
Arsenia is a painter and specifically she paints byzantine icons using
traditional byzantine techiques. Ioanna is a public client.
All the family welcome you to the island and wish you to have a pleasant
stay. Feel free and contact with us if you have any questions about

Area: 209 sq. km.
Distance
from piraeus: 95 nautical miles.
Distance from Rafina: 82 nautical miles.
Paros, the third-largest of Cyclades after Naxos and Andros has developed
into an important centre of tourism in recent years. It's location
in the middle of Cyclades, allows the visitors of the island to have
daily trips
to neardy islands.

Gently rolling hills surround the centre and south - east of the
island, which is predominantly agricultural and is occupied
by endless vine-yards,
and lock within themselves the famous Parian marble.
The costline is indented, with numerous small inlets and two
large bays, those of Naoussa in the north and Parikia in the
west.
Paros has been inhabited since very ancient times, and was one
of the the centres of the Cycladic civilisation. Parikia, the
island capital
and port,
stands on the site of an acient city. There is a picturesque
and ruinous venetian castle, and the courtryards of the house
of the
town - all
of them painted white - are full of pots of basil and hung with
jasmine and honeysuckle.

A broad paved avenue leads to the
church of Ekatondapiliani or Katapoliani, one of the most important byzantine
monuments in the whole of Greece and place that figures largely in legend.
It is dedicated to the dormition of our lady, and on her feast day ( 15
August ) there is a great celebration on the sea ¨C front with fireworks
and songs of the sea.
The chapels and the monasteries of Paros are famed for their picturesqueness
among the most characteristic are:
+ the monastery St Anargyri, overlooking Parikia
+ the monastery St Arsenios, batterflies valley
+ the monastery Logovardas (visitable only for men)
+ the monastery Thapsanon (visitable only by woman).
At the 4th km on the road Parikia - Lefkes - Drios you can find the ancient
marble quarry. Here the famous parian marble is mined. Unique in its transparency
and purity marble used in the masterpieces by artists as Feidias, Skopas,
Praxitelis and more.
Many famous statues produced from parian white marble:
+ Afrodite de Milo-Paris at the Louvre museum.
+ Victory of Samothrace-Paris at the Louvre museum.
+ Hermes of Praxitelis-museum at Olympia.
